Free Weaving Club

Der Club ist eine Workshopserie von Teresa Fagbohoun / künstlerische Mitarbeiterin am Institut für experimentelles Bekleidungs- und Textildesign der Universität der Künste Berlin. Sie nutzt Handwerk als Methodik zu Selbstwirksamkeit, Verortung des Individuums innerhalb einer globalen, gerechtigkeitsorientierten Produktionskonstellation oder Integration lokaler Lebensrealitäten in die berufliche Praxis sind nur einige Stichworte, die sich in ihre Liebe für Mode einbetten und deren kulturelle und gestalterische Kraft weiterentwickeln.

The club is a series of workshops led by Teresa Fagbohoun, artistic collaborator at the Institute for Experimental Clothing and Textile Design at Berlin University of the Arts. She uses craftsmanship as a methodology for self-efficacy, locating the individual within a global, justice-oriented production constellation, or integrating local realities of life into professional practice are just a few of the keywords that are embedded in her love of fashion and further develop its cultural and creative power.
