Bonds and Borders

Jedes Jahr haben die Studenten des Studiengangs Dokumentarfotografie und Fotojournalismus am ICP New York sechs Monate Zeit, um eine aussagekräftige, fesselnde Geschichte für ihre Abschlussarbeit zu entwickeln und zu fotografieren, die am Ende des Schuljahres im Juli im ICP gezeigt und ausgestellt wird. Die Bildredakteure von OKS wählen die zwölf besten Geschichten aus – diejenigen, aus denen sie etwas Neues gelernt haben, die ihnen eine Situation aus einer anderen Perspektive nähergebracht haben oder die sie aufgrund ihres relevanten Themas beeindruckt haben.

Every Year the students in the Documentary Photography and Photojournalism Program at ICP New York have six month to develop and photograph a powerful, compelling story for their thesis project that will be screened and exhibited at ICP st the end of the school year in July. The photo editors at OKS pick the twelve best stories – the ones from which they learned something they didn't know, understood a situations from a different point of view. felt it had a relevant subject matter, and were moved emotionally and intellectually. – Nadia Masri
